Well wishes for Mama Winnie

MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and deputy president of the ANC Women's League, Sisi Ntombela has joined the masses in wishing Winnie Madikizela-Mandela who turned 81 on Wednesday, a happy birthday.
Ntombela told Dumelang News that the 81 years “mother of the nation” was a strong woman who not only managed to beat the odds of apartheid but who continues to be an embodiment of a true revolutionary.
“I would like to wish comrade Winnie a blessed birthday and wish that she can enjoy many more years to come. We are looking up to her as a true leader of her times and would also like to send a clear message to young women in this country to ensure that they follow the legacy of this gallant leader,” said Ntombela.
Meanwhile, the well-wishes went viral on social media with some even revising the biography of Madikizela-Mandela.
One Nomathamsanqa Nqikela from Bultfontein wrote on her social media page that Winnie is a “beautiful African woman. Even in her 80s she is still the same”.
There outpourings of love for Madikizela-Mandela were also received from members of the public to political parties, thanking her for her contribution in liberating South Africa.
Married to the late Nelson Mandela for 38 years and bearing him two daughters, Zenani Dlamini and Zindzi Mandela, Madikizela-Mandela was herself a very dedicated freedom fighter who was harassed, tortured and arrested for her commitments to freedom.
